The Zebra has arrived

What a good-looking Zebra! This book is proof that you can (sometimes) judge a book by its cover. Gerhard Bachfischer's splendid book cover, which incorporates the intricate and colourful design of a quilt-top created by Rajni Troup, is every bit as impressive as the poetry in this debut volume by Kai Jensen.

Kai Jensen’s thoughtful and engaging collection of poems was delivered from the printer yesterday.  Kai’s poems have been widely published in journals in Australian and overseas, and he is well-known on the South Coast of NSW as an excellent reader of poetry, both his own and other people’s. This is Kai’s first book-length publication, and it is impressive, revealing a lively imagination, broad intellectual scope and mature craftsmanship.  We are proud to bring this volume to you.

We are proud to bring this volume to you and are sure you will enjoy it.. Find out more about the book by clicking the link below; or come along to Live and Local at the Wollongong Town Hall on 24 May to hear Kai read a selection of his poems. Better still, do both!
