It's Time to Party (in an age-appropriate way)!

On 21 November, at the beautiful Redleaf Gallery, we will be getting together to celebrate the books we published in the year ending June 2026. You are invited to join us for a celebratory evening of poetry, song, conviviality and conversation--with a glass of wine (or two) and a light bite. And there will be time to meet and chat with others who love poetry.
It has been a very busy year—which in part explains why although the year we’re celebrating ended in June, it is only now, in late November, that we have been able to find time to celebrate it. Between July 2025 and June 2026, we published ten full-length monographs, an anthology of 101 poems, and four books in our Shorts series.
We are proud to have brought so much new poetry into the world. But we are even more proud of the quality of the work that we have published. This event is intended to honour that work, and the poets who made it. We are grateful to them for entrusting their work to us, and we are delighted that so many of them will be there to read from it.

You will hear from eleven poets whose books we published during the year. Our annual anthology, Oystercatcher Two, in which all shortlisted poems from the inaugural Robert Gray Prize for Poetry were published, will be represented by readings from Judith Beveridge (winner) and Audrey Molloy (commended).
Your emcee for the event with be the inimitable Peter Frankis, chair of South Coast Writers Centre and editor of our Shorts series.
We would love you to be there to share this event with us.
